Worship strengthens our faith by focusing on God’s greatness.
“But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth;
for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. God is spirit, and those who worship Him must
worship in spirit and truth.” — John 4:23–24
Knowing God deeply builds our trust in Him. Worship—praising God’s character and seeking His presence—ignites our faith and focuses our attention on the Almighty God.
- Worship can include singing in church, but it is much more.
- To worship is to revere and respond to God as we adore the many qualities of His nature.
- Hebrews 11:6 highlights two essentials: believe that God exists and that He rewards those who seek Him.
- As we draw close to God through worship and His Word, our faith strengthens and our prayer life deepens.
The more we worship God, the more we can trust Him! Faith grows by seeking God’s presence and meditating on His greatness.

- Choose one attribute related to your Session 1 prayer need; read related Scripture and praise God for that attribute.
- Pray as a conversation, listening for God’s voice; worship with other believers when possible.
Worship Him. Pause to focus on God’s presence and use Scripture to guide your praise.
“Lord, open my heart to worship You. Reveal Your greatness as I seek You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
