God Will! Trust Him
Trust God’s timing and watch for His answers.
Biblical Foundation
“My soul, wait in silence for God only, For my hope is from Him. He only is my rock and my salvation, My stronghold; I shall not be shaken.” — Psalm 62:5–6
Introduction
- Yes (1 John 5:14–15; Matthew 7:11)
- In His perfect way
- In His perfect timing
- No, this is not best. (2 Corinthians 12:7–9)
- Wait
- It could be due to spiritual battle in the heavenlies
- God might be using this waiting period to shape our character and align circumstances. Faith means trusting His process, His order, and His plan.
Lessons from Daniel 10
“Then he said to me, ‘Do not be afraid, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart on understanding this and on humbling yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to your words.’” — Daniel 10:12
“But the prince of the kingdom of Persia was withstanding me for twenty-one days; then behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I had been left there with the kings of Persia.” — Daniel 10:13
“From the first day” (Daniel 10:12) implies that Daniel continued in prayer until the angel appeared.
Key Insight
- God answers prayers according to His will (1 John 5:14–15).
The more our prayers agree with God’s will, the closer His answers will match our prayers. - We trust God’s timing, even when answers are delayed (Proverbs 3:5–6).
- When God says no, we’re comforted that His ways are best (Isaiah 55:8–9; 2 Corinthians 12:8–9).
